OCE Grading uses a highly accurate 10 point grading scale (1-10). Cards which exhibit high-end qualities within each particular grade may receive a half-point grade increase (eg. 9.5). To determine the final grade of a card we assign it four subgrades: surface, centering, corners and edges. These four subgrades are then used in our algorithm to calculate a cards final grade.

OCE Grading uses 3 different labels to distinguish between overall grades. Gold (for cards graded 10), Silver (for cards graded between 7.5 and 9.5) and Ivory (for cards graded between 1 and 7).
